A combination of
Lizard Cat Zebra Racoon = Lizcazebrac

This character design is for my short animation reel. I’m doing this to explore the “twelve principles of animation”. The character will jump n walk across the frame with an attitude, waving his long tail.
I will do the model sheet for it too…

The character is awesome. Great design and style! As a picture, however, I think the composition could've been more... focused. Right now it feels a bit too scattered for me.

but u could give him more promising pose..since hes a funny character. and im not sure about that shadow..loks like pasted there..im not able to find out the lightsource too, u could give second tone on his face also..like u ve given on his tail....oops...im too much nit picky....

Design at its best, Simple and effective. The image works !!

As for the shadow, which i probable would not of noticed except for Shyam, Can I say this... Ignore him, I never liked the man.. lol JOKE shyam..

The tail looks like its lit from below and the body area is lit from above..
But realistically its not a real animal.. IS IT? lol

So in my humble opinion it works as if the shadows all origionated from the one source the little fellow would simple look like a 2d design with a drop shadow.. So for me it works better here...

Funky creature! Nice work. The face and hands definitely reminds me of Miko from Disney's version of "Pocahontas." They're definiltey two distinct characters though. Would love like to see the animation when it’s complete
